Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

Dr.Foodie delivers fresh, home-made tiffin meals (Monday–Saturday) within our serviceable area in Hosur. Your lunch is cooked in a home kitchen — not a restaurant — and delivered to your workplace or learning place before 2 PM. Menus are planned by our home kitchen and may vary daily.

Meals are picked up from the home kitchen and delivered to you. The tiffin is handed over to the delivery partner (wala) at the ground floor only. If the wala needs directions to reach you, please call them through the app. Delivery is available within approximately 10 km of our kitchen. Accurate address and location details are your responsibility.

• Once payment is made, an order generally cannot be cancelled.
• A single day's order may be cancelled only up to 1 hour before the pickup time.
• Weekly and Monthly subscription plans cannot be cancelled once started.
• If an eligible order is cancelled, 20% of that day's amount is credited to your Dr.Foodie wallet; the remaining amount is non-refundable.
• Plans can be paused within limits (Monthly: up to 3 days/month, Weekly: up to 1 day/week).

Prices are shown in the app and may change with notice. Payments are processed securely via Razorpay. By paying, you authorise the charge for your selected plan or order. Applicable taxes, if any, are included or shown at checkout.

Meals are freshly prepared in an FSSAI-registered kitchen without preservatives. Please consume within 2 hours of delivery. If you have allergies or specific dietary needs, contact us before ordering — we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

You agree not to misuse the Service, including placing fraudulent orders, abusing the pause/cancel policy, harassing delivery partners or staff, or attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the Service.

Wallet credits and refunds, where applicable, are issued at our discretion in line with our policies and applicable law. Undelivered orders due to our fault are credited to your wallet.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dr.Foodie shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 30 days preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or misuse. You may delete your account at any time from the app or by contacting support.

We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Tamil Nadu.
